What is Students4You?
Students4You is an independent foundation, run by AUC (Amsterdam University College) students, that arranges high-quality private tutoring from AUC students for high school students. These high school students can be prospective AUC students who are looking for (academic) contact with a current AUC student, or those who require tuition to meet Mathematics or English prerequisites. As the educational backgrounds at AUC are very diverse and international, Students4You also offers tuition to International Baccalaureate students in English or, when desired, in a students’ native language. Student4You also offers tuition to Dutch students, especially in preparation for their HAVO or VWO exams.
Financial
As a student-run organisation, we believe that a high quality private tutoring service should be available at an affordable price. Therefore, Students4You strives to deliver this at a fair rate. We are a non-profit organisation, meaning that, unlike most tutoring organisations, the vast majority of money goes to the tutors. For more information about pricing, please click here.
Personal approach
We believe that a personal approach is necessary to attain the best possible results in school. One-to-one tutoring is the best possible way to provide students with a personalised approach. Most of our tutors have completed high school no more than three years ago, meaning that they are very aware of the obstacles a student may experience when tackling subjects. Depending on your preferences, tutoring sessions can take place in an AUC student’s room on campus, or in the academic building of AUC.
